Smart glasses in United States
29 models are confirmed on sale in the United States.
The United States is where almost every pair launches first, and the list of glasses sold here is the longest on this site. Meta sells its whole range: Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3, Gen 2, the prescription-first Optics frames, Oakley Meta, the cheaper Meta Glasses and the Meta Ray-Ban Display with its Neural Band. The camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio is on pre-order. Software is the bigger difference. Live AI, Autocapture, conversation focus, calendar and reminders are listed for the US (some shared with Canada) and not yet for most other markets. Display glasses from XREAL, VITURE and RayNeo, plus the Samsung Galaxy XR headset, are also sold here, so you can compare camera glasses and video glasses in one market.

Buying notes
- Restyle is listed for the US in English but Meta excludes Texas and Illinois, so a pair bought there will not show it. See Restyle.
- Several new Meta features ship through the Early Access Program, which Meta lists for the US and Canada only. Joining is covered in how to join Early Access.
- Prescription Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta pairs can be ordered online or through opticians. Meta Ray-Ban Display lenses are bonded at the factory and limited to a narrow single-vision range; check Display prescription details before ordering.
- Meta says hearing enhancement will launch in the US later this year as a paid add-on or through a Meta One subscription.
Questions people ask
Which Meta AI features are US-only right now?
Meta lists calendar, reminders and Audible on the glasses as English in the US only. Live AI, Autocapture, natural conversation and email recall are listed for the US and Canada. Everything else on the table below has a wider footprint.
Is Meta Ray-Ban Display easy to buy in the US?
It is sold in the US with the Meta Neural Band included in the price. The data on this page shows the current starting price; prescription orders need a supported single-vision lens.
Will a pair bought in the US work abroad?
The hardware works anywhere, but features follow Meta's country and language lists. Some US-only features may not appear when you use the glasses elsewhere.
