Apple Vision Pro
Apple Vision Pro is a mixed-reality headset from Apple. It starts at $3,499 in the United States (starting price, 256GB). Apple sells or supports it in 11 countries. Apple Vision Pro went on sale in October 2025.
Apple Vision Pro is a headset, and this site lists it as a reference point rather than as smart glasses. The 2025 update moved it to the M5 chip, alongside the R1, and added the Dual Knit Band. It has dual micro-OLED displays with 23 million pixels in total, refresh rates up to 120Hz, eye and hand tracking, a Digital Crown, and a stereoscopic 6.5-megapixel camera for spatial photos and video. Apple quotes up to 2.5 hours of general use and 3 hours of video from the external battery, and a weight of 750-800 g with the Light Seal and band. Compare it with Galaxy XR, and contrast it with the light glasses Apple is reported to be building.
Good fit
Apple users who want a large private display, spatial photos and video, and apps in a headset, and who accept its weight and session length.

Where you can buy it
Apple lists Apple Vision Pro in 11 countries: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States.
Limitations to know before you buy
- Heavy. Apple lists 750-800 g including Light Seal and band, with the battery carried separately.
- Short sessions. 2.5 hours of general use and 3 hours of video, per Apple's specs.
- Country status may be dated. Apple's October 2025 release listed South Korea and Taiwan as 'coming later', and this site hasn't re-verified that.
- Not eyewear. It is worn with a Light Seal and head band and sold as a spatial computer, so it is not something to wear on the street or for hours at a time.
- Vision correction costs extra. Prescription wearers need ZEISS Optical Inserts, sold separately and not listed on Apple's specs page.
