Frames & Features is free to read. To pay for research and hosting, we use affiliate links. When you click a link to a retailer, such as a maker's online store, Amazon or an electronics chain, and then buy something, that retailer may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way. Some links on the site are plain links with no affiliate arrangement yet; we treat them exactly the same.
Commissions don't decide what we cover or how. Our device pages, availability tables and prescription ranges come from official sources, and a product with no affiliate program gets the same treatment as one with a generous program. We don't accept payment for coverage, placement or rankings, and no maker reviews our pages before publication.
Retailer links on our pages are marked so that search engines know they are commercial, and the retailer, not us, sets the cookie that records your visit. Retailers' cookie and privacy terms apply once you leave our site; our privacy policy explains what we see.
If we show advertising, ads are labeled and kept separate from editorial text, and advertisers have no say over what we write.
Comparisons and rankings on this site use published data, such as prices, prescription ranges and supported countries, not testing.
