Samsung smart glasses: what is announced
Samsung and Google are making AI glasses in two frame lines, one from Gentle Monster and one from Warby Parker. Samsung has not yet published a launch date, a price or a country list. This page tracks each one and changes the day Samsung publishes it.

Both share the same hardware as far as Samsung has said: a camera, open-ear speakers, microphones and voice access to Gemini. Gentle Monster lists its glasses at gentlemonster.com[6] and Warby Parker at warbyparker.com[7].
Country rollout
Samsung has said “select markets” and nothing more. Until it names them, every country below reads Announced: the glasses are announced, but that country is not confirmed. A country moves to Available only when an official Samsung, Google or retailer page lists it.

Not the same product
- Galaxy XR is Samsung’s Android XR headset, on sale since October 2025. It is a headset, not glasses.

When do Samsung’s smart glasses come out?
Samsung and Google have said only “this fall” in select markets. The Korea Herald reported on 1 October 2026 that a Samsung official confirmed a November 2026 launch. No day has been announced.
How much will Samsung’s smart glasses cost?
Samsung has not announced a price. A leak reported by TechRepublic in April 2026 put an entry model at 379 to 499 US dollars; Samsung has not confirmed it.
Do Samsung’s smart glasses work with an iPhone?
Google and Gentle Monster say the glasses pair with Android phones and iPhones. Samsung adds that some features need a compatible Galaxy device, and gesture control needs a Galaxy Watch9. Which features work on an iPhone has not been published.
Do they have a display?
No. These are audio glasses with a camera, speakers and microphones. Samsung and Google’s glasses with a display in the lens are a separate product that Google has not dated; reports point to 2027.
Are they called Galaxy Glasses?
Samsung and Google call them Intelligent Eyewear. “Galaxy Glasses” is a name used in the press; Samsung has not confirmed it as the product name.
Can I get them with prescription lenses?
Not confirmed. Samsung mentions “lens options” and Warby Parker points to its prescription work, but neither has published a prescription range.
