Even R1
Even R1 is a wearable controller from Even Realities. It starts at $249 in the United States. Even Realities sells or supports it in 41 countries. Even R1 went on sale in November 2025.
Even R1 is a smart ring, not glasses. Even sells it as a companion to the Even G2: a tap-and-scroll touch surface on the ring lets you move through the glasses' menus without raising a hand to the temple. It also works as a tracker in the Even Realities app, logging heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen, temperature trends, activity and sleep. The ring is gray zirconia ceramic with a stainless steel lining, and Even quotes battery as 'up to 4 days' without an hour figure. It launched alongside G2 on 2025-11-12. The main reason to buy it is quieter control of G2 in meetings or on stage, where reaching for your frame is more visible than a thumb on a ring.
Good fit
G2 owners who present, teach or use Teleprompt and want to scroll without touching the frame.
Look elsewhere if
Skip it if you own G1 or no Even glasses at all: Even's pages describe R1 only as a G2 controller. Start with the Even G2 page instead.

Limitations to know before you buy
- G2 only, as far as Even says. No G1 support is stated.
- Battery is 'up to 4 days'. Even publishes no hour figure.
- Needs the Even Realities app on iOS 16 or Android 11 and later, the same app G2 uses.
- Ring sizing isn't in this site's data. Check Even's sizing guidance before ordering.
- It is a controller, not a screen. Everything you scroll through still appears on the G2 lenses, so without glasses the ring is a health tracker only.
- Health figures are Even's claims. This site lists the metrics Even names; it has not assessed how accurate they are.
- Even's page doesn't say whether one ring can switch between several pairs of glasses.
