Even G1
Even G1 is a pair of smart glasses with an in-lens display from Even Realities. It starts at $499 in the United States (last listed 'From' price for G1 A (G1 B from $599); sales ended 2026-09-15). Even Realities no longer sells Even G1; it is still supported in the app.
Even G1 was Even Realities' first display glasses, and Even stopped selling it directly on 2026-09-15. Owners keep the Even App, and Even says support, repair, replacement and warranty continue, with security support until at least 2029-06-25. On paper G1 is a narrower version of what G2 does: a green monochrome micro-LED waveguide display at 640x200 and 25 degrees, up to 1,000 nits, two microphones, no camera and no speakers. Even quotes 'up to 1.5 days' per charge with 2.5 recharges from the case, and G1 has wireless charging. This page is mainly for current owners, and for anyone offered a used pair who wants to know what they would be getting.
Good fit
Current owners deciding whether to upgrade, and buyers offered a used pair who only need notifications and translation on the lens.

Limitations to know before you buy
- No longer sold directly. Even ended G1 sales on 2026-09-15, so a pair now comes from leftover retail stock or the used market.
- R1 ring support isn't stated. Even describes the R1 as a controller for G2 and doesn't say it works with G1.
- Smaller display than G2. 640x200 against 640x350, and 25 degrees against 27.5.
- Weight and release date aren't published on Even's current pages.
- Translate needs internet. Even's G1 FAQ lists 22 languages and an internet requirement.
- Prescription choice has shrunk. Even says the single-vision lens option for G1 is sold out, which matters if you planned to order new lenses.
Questions people ask
Will my Even G1 keep working?
Yes. Even says existing owners can keep using the Even App, with security support until at least 2029-06-25. Repair, replacement and warranty service continue.
What should I check before buying a used G1?
Ask for the charging case and proof of purchase, since warranty service depends on it. G2 has a larger display and a longer stated battery figure, so weigh the price against that.
Did G1 owners get an offer when G2 launched?
Press reported that at launch, G1 owners got a free R1 ring with a G2 purchase. Check Even's store for any current offer.
How much does Even G1 cost?
$499 in the United States, per Even Realities's list prices.
Can I get Even G1 with prescription lenses?

Does Even G1 work with iPhone and Android?
It pairs through the Even Realities / Even App. iPhone needs iOS 16 or later; Android needs Android 11 or later.
Is Even G1 waterproof?
No. It is rated splash and light rain resistant (no IP rating published), which covers splashes and sweat, not swimming or submersion.
