Smart glasses in India
2 models are confirmed on sale in India, and Meta supports 1 more model there through its brand-level country list.
In India, "Meta glasses" means Ray-Ban Meta. Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 has been sold from Rs 39,900 since 1 December 2025, and press reports put Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 at a starting price of Rs 44,300, sold through Ray-Ban's official online store in India. The original Gen 1 launched here in May 2025 at Rs 29,900 and is no longer in Meta's current lineup. The cheaper Meta Glasses line and Meta Ray-Ban Display are not on Meta's list for India, and Meta's Oakley tab does not include India either. Software is better than the hardware list suggests: Meta AI can be set to Hindi, Kannada or Telugu, live translation includes Hindi, Restyle is listed in English, and a UPI Scan and Pay test runs on Gen 2.
