VITURE Luma

VITURE Luma is a pair of display glasses (a wearable screen) from VITURE. It starts at $399 in the United States. VITURE sells or supports it in United States. VITURE Luma went on sale recently.

VITURE Luma is the entry model in the Luma series and the one nearsighted buyers should look at first. Its built-in adjustment goes up to -6.0D, with axis adjustment, the widest range VITURE states for any Luma, so many people can skip prescription inserts. The rest is a straightforward wired display: a 146-inch virtual screen at 1200p and up to 120Hz, a 50-degree field of view, brightness up to 1,000 nits and electrochromic lenses that change tint in 0.1 seconds. It weighs 77 grams and has no battery of its own, since power and picture both come over USB-C. VITURE's guide also says Luma has the largest eyebox in its lineup, which makes the image more forgiving of how the frame sits. The box adds three swappable nose pads, a 1.2 m USB-C to USB-C cable and a hair-friendly cover.

Good fit

Nearsighted viewers who want a private big screen for a phone, Steam Deck or laptop and would prefer not to order prescription inserts.

Look elsewhere if

Skip it if you want the widest view or a screen pinned by dedicated hardware: The Beast has a 58-degree field of view and hardware 3DoF.
