VITURE Luma Ultra

VITURE Luma Ultra is a pair of AR glasses with a camera from VITURE. It starts at $599 in the United States. VITURE sells or supports it in United States. VITURE Luma Ultra went on sale recently.

VITURE Luma Ultra is the Luma model with cameras. A front RGB camera and two grayscale depth cameras give it the hardware for 6DoF tracking and hand gestures, and brightness rises to 1,500 nits, the highest in the Luma line. The screen otherwise matches Luma Pro: a 152-inch virtual display at 1200p, up to 120Hz, across a 52-degree field of view. The conditions matter more than the specs. VITURE's product page says 6DoF runs in SpaceWalker via the VITURE Pro Neckband or on macOS and Windows, and full gesture control requires the neckband. On iOS, SpaceWalker supports only 3DoF Pin Mode through a separate charging adapter. VITURE's own guide aims the Ultra at business partners, AR game developers and prosumers.

Good fit

Developers and prosumers who will run SpaceWalker on a Mac or Windows PC, or plan to buy the Pro Neckband, and want spatial tracking from wired display glasses.

Look elsewhere if

Skip it if you only watch video or play on a handheld, where the cameras add little. The Luma Pro has the same screen size, and Luma Ultra vs The Beast weighs field of view against 6DoF.
