XREAL Beam Pro

XREAL Beam Pro is a pair of AR glasses with a camera from XREAL. It starts at $199 in the United States ('from'; US product page shows all variants unavailable on 2026-10-04). XREAL sells or supports it in 27 countries. XREAL Beam Pro went on sale recently.

Beam Pro is not glasses. It is a 6.5-inch touchscreen device running NebulaOS on Android 14, and its job is to be what your XREAL glasses plug into when your phone can't do it, or when you'd rather not have the glasses draw on your phone. It drives the glasses by itself, with no phone in the loop. Dual 50MP cameras record 3D spatial video at 1080p and 60fps, there is an 8MP front camera, and XREAL quotes 7.5 hours of video playback. Wi-Fi models come with 6GB/128GB or 8GB/256GB, and a 5G model with 8GB/256GB. For One series owners it also updates firmware over Wi-Fi and is the required route for recording mixed-reality video with XREAL Eye.

Good fit

Owners of a Lightning iPhone or a phone without USB-C video output who want to use XREAL glasses anyway, and anyone who wants a dedicated media device for travel.

Look elsewhere if

Skip it if your phone already outputs DisplayPort over USB-C and you only want to mirror it. Check your phone on the XREAL compatibility page first.

Questions people ask

Do I need Beam Pro to use XREAL glasses?

No. Any device with USB-C DisplayPort output that can power the glasses drives them directly. Beam Pro is for phones that can't, or for 3D capture and Wi-Fi firmware updates.

Can Beam Pro record what I see in the glasses?

With XREAL Eye fitted to One series glasses, XREAL says Beam Pro is needed to record mixed-reality video. Its own dual cameras record 3D spatial video at 1080p and 60fps.

How fast does Beam Pro charge?

XREAL says its 4300mAh battery reaches 69% in 30 minutes and full in 69 minutes. It weighs 208 g, about as much as a phone, so plan for a second device in your pocket.
