XREAL xbx a01+

XREAL xbx a01+ is a pair of display glasses (a wearable screen) from XREAL. It starts at $299 in the United States (sale price (regular $359)). XREAL sells or supports it in 2 countries. XREAL xbx a01+ went on sale in July 2026.

The xbx a01+ is XREAL's lower-cost line, aimed at movies and games. It is the lightest XREAL display glasses on this site at 62 g with the detachable front frame, or 56 g without, and the brightest on paper: XREAL's spec page reads '1600 nits & 6000 nits', to-eye versus screen. The panels are 0.6-inch SeeYa micro-OLED with HDR10 and up to 120Hz, covering 50 degrees per XREAL. The savings show elsewhere. Press reports no head tracking, so there is no Anchor mode, and no electrochromic dimming. Compared with the plain a01, the plus model adds a light shield and a surround audio mode. It launched in China in May 2026 and reached the US in July.

Good fit

Viewers who want a light, bright screen for a USB-C iPhone, iPad, Steam Deck, ROG Ally or PC and don't mind the picture following their head.

Look elsewhere if

Skip it if you play on a Switch or Switch 2: Engadget's review says it doesn't work with either. The ROG XREAL R1 includes a dock for consoles.
