XREAL xbx a01+ with prescription lenses

The xbx line is XREAL's lower-cost option for movies and games, and its prescription lenses are priced to match: XREAL's US store listed the xbx a01+ lenses at a $49.90 sale price. You order them with your prescription details. XREAL doesn't publish the supported range. The UK, EU and Japan stores list the xbx prescription lenses but not the glasses, so it's unclear whether the glasses themselves are sold there. For someone on a budget who wants a screen for travel, that low lens price helps. Check the lenses and glasses are both available where you live.

How to order

1. Add the xbx a01+ prescription lenses on XREAL's store.
2. Enter your prescription details at checkout.
3. Fit the lenses to the glasses when they arrive.
4. Check the glasses ship to your country before ordering the lenses.

Watch out for

• Range not published by XREAL.
• Glasses availability outside the US is unclear.
• Sale prices change; the figure here is from XREAL's US store at the time of checking.
• Engadget's review says xbx a01+ doesn't work with Nintendo Switch 1 or 2, so check your devices too.
• Custom XREAL lenses for other models are non-returnable except for quality issues; expect the same here and confirm before buying.
• XREAL's US listing gives the xbx box contents as the glasses, a cable, nose pads in three sizes, a cleaning cloth, a case and a manual. No lens frame is listed, so ask XREAL how the prescription lenses mount before you order them.
