XREAL Air 2 Pro
XREAL Air 2 Pro is a pair of display glasses (a wearable screen) from XREAL. It starts at $249 in the United States (sale (regular $399). Product page says In Stock but the store listing says Coming Soon; refurbished units $199). XREAL sells or supports it in United States. XREAL Air 2 Pro went on sale recently.
The Air 2 Pro belongs to the generation before XREAL's One series. It is a simple wired display: 0.55-inch Sony micro-OLED panels at 1920x1080 per eye, a 46-degree view and 500 nits, fed over USB-C by a USB-C iPhone, an Android phone with DisplayPort output, a Mac or PC, a Steam Deck, a ROG Ally or a tablet. What set it apart from the plain Air 2 was electrochromic dimming in three steps, 0, 35 and 100 percent, from see-through to blacked out. At 75 g it is lighter than any One series model. The US store sells it at a discount and also lists refurbished units, though its stock labels contradict each other.
Good fit
Budget buyers who mostly watch video from a USB-C phone or laptop and want adjustable tint without paying One series prices.
Look elsewhere if
Skip it if you want the screen to stay fixed in space as you turn your head: XREAL lists Anchor and Follow modes for the One series, not this model. Look at the XREAL One.

Limitations to know before you buy
- Stock status is inconsistent. The US product page says In Stock while the store listing says Coming Soon, and the US is the only store listing it.
- Air-series prescription inserts only. One series inserts don't fit, and XREAL publishes no range for the Air inserts.
- Narrower view. 46 degrees, against 50 to 57 for the One series models.
- No XREAL Eye support listed. The Eye camera is sold for One series glasses, and its spec page doesn't name the Air 2 Pro.
