No display after switching to Spatial Anchor mode with XREAL Eye

Applies to XREAL Eye.

XREAL Eye is the small camera module that gives compatible XREAL glasses six-degree tracking, which Spatial Anchor mode needs to pin the screen in place. When the display vanishes after switching that mode on, XREAL's fix is physical: unplug the Eye, push it back in firmly, then turn Spatial Anchor on again. A loose connection means the glasses lose tracking data and cannot place the screen. XREAL's troubleshooting describes this with XREAL Eye fitted to XREAL One series glasses, which are the glasses the Eye is made for.

Official steps

  1. Unplug and reinsert XREAL Eye so it's firmly seated, then turn Spatial Anchor back on.

Still not working?

If the display still disappears, check the screen is not simply anchored out of view, and recenter. Make sure the glasses firmware is current. If reseating does not help, or the Eye will not stay seated, contact XREAL support with the glasses model and firmware version. See XREAL Eye. For a claim, XREAL's EU store asks for the purchase order, the serial number, a fault description with a video or picture, and current contact details. Contact goes through the XREAL website form or support@xreal.com. Keep the order number handy too, since the warranty clock runs from delivery.
