Video won't start recording when battery is low

Video on Meta's glasses needs a minimum battery level before it will start, and Meta says that level depends on battery temperature: about 10 percent at 25 C and 15 percent at 20 C. So the glasses can take a photo but refuse a video on a cool day with a low battery. This is designed behavior, not a fault. Photos and voice features may keep working below the video threshold, which is why the problem can look random.
