How to unpair Meta glasses from your phone
Unpairing removes the glasses from your Meta AI app so you can pair them to a new phone, or before you pass them on. It is done entirely in the app, under the glasses' General settings, and the Neural Band has its own "Unpair wristband" option. Meta says unpairing will not change or erase any settings. To finish the job, Meta adds that you may need to forget the glasses in your phone's Bluetooth menu, otherwise the old link can get in the way.

Tips
- If you have more than one device in the app, swipe to the right one before opening Device settings.
- Giving the glasses to someone else? Unpairing is not enough, because they stay tied to your Meta account. Follow up with a factory reset.
- Forget both the glasses and the band in your phone's Bluetooth menu afterward.
Questions people ask
Does unpairing delete my photos?
Meta's note on unpairing says it does not change or erase settings; it does not describe deleting captures. A factory reset is what deletes captures, so import first if you plan to reset.
