VITURE The Beast with prescription lenses

VITURE offers prescription lenses for VITURE The Beast but has not published a range.[1]

The Beast breaks from VITURE's usual approach. Most VITURE glasses have myopia dials; The Beast has none, and ships instead with a free prescription lens frame. You get lenses made for that frame and clip it in behind the display. VITURE doesn't publish a range for the frame. The upside of a lens over a dial is that it can include astigmatism correction. The downside is a separate order, and the glasses are less easy to share. If you're mildly nearsighted with no cylinder, a dial-equipped Luma skips that step. The Beast comes in Regular and Large sizes for different pupil distances. VITURE also sells a Beast prescription lens frame with lenses as a $79 add-on, so you can order lenses with the glasses instead of finding a lab.

How to order

  1. Choose Regular or Large size based on your pupil distance.
  2. Take the included prescription lens frame to a lens provider that makes VITURE inserts.
  3. Clip the finished frame into the glasses.

Questions people ask

Does VITURE The Beast have myopia adjustment?

No. It has no built-in dials and ships with a free prescription lens frame instead.

Can The Beast correct astigmatism?

A custom lens in the included frame can include cylinder, unlike dials. Confirm the range with your lens provider.

What should I bring if a local optician makes Beast lenses?

The empty frame from the box, a current prescription with cylinder and axis, and your pupil distance. VITURE publishes no range, so the optician has to confirm the frame can take your lenses.
