Specs
Specs is a pair of AI glasses with a camera and an in-lens display from Snap Inc.. It starts at $2,195 in the United States (pre-order with $200 refundable deposit; Verizon Connected Case bundle $2,395). Specs has been announced (16 June 2026) but is not on sale yet.
Specs are Snap's consumer AR glasses, announced in June 2026 and open for pre-order, with shipping expected later this fall in the US, UK and France. They belong to a different class from AI camera glasses: a full-color LCoS waveguide display with a 51-degree field of view, two Snapdragon processors (one for computer vision, one for running Lenses) and Snap OS, where developers have already published hundreds of Lenses. Snap has announced translation for 60 languages, navigation with voice guidance and shopping through Shopify. The costs are weight and battery. Specs weigh 132 grams in the 47 mm size and 136 grams in the 52 mm size, and Snap rates them at up to 4 hours of mixed use, with the case adding four charges.
Good fit
Developers and early adopters who want an AR platform with apps today, and who can live with a short battery and a heavy frame.
Look elsewhere if
Skip them if you want all-day glasses or a lower price. The RayNeo X3 Pro also has a full-color display, and camera AI glasses such as the Rokid Ai Glasses Style weigh a fraction as much.
