Halliday glasses

Halliday makes display glasses without a camera, aimed at work conversations. Its current model, the Halliday G2, puts text in both eyes from two micro-LED engines, rated at 1,600 nits peak with a 25.2-degree field of view, in a 49-gram frame rated IP54. The software, Flow, gives live captions, translation in 45-plus languages, in-meeting summaries and notes with action items afterward. Control is a touch bar on the right temple. The design choice that defines the brand is the missing camera: Halliday pitches G2 for offices and meeting rooms where recording lenses make people uneasy. The trade-off is that there is no visual AI, and meeting features are metered through monthly credit plans, from a free Starter tier to a $99-a-month Max tier. Prescription lenses run from -9.00 to +2.00 SPH and take 4 to 6 weeks. The first-generation Halliday glasses, with a single-eye monochrome display, aren't covered on this site. Pick G2 for meetings; pick camera glasses if you want photos.
